DM8000 clones

There seems to be a few asian sites now openly advertising what appears to be clones of the DM8000 STBs.

Has anyone sourced one of these, and if so, what, if anything do you think about them?

I would have thought with the aussie dollar being so high ATM the prices of the genuine boxes would be a bit more affordable, I'm sure there's a small but strong local interest in the DM8000 but not for the current asking price of a wee bit under $2k.
