    Default Whitey & CCcam

    I am trying to get whitey working with Phoenix connected to DM500s serial port.

    I tried CCcam info i can see the card getting read but it doesn't seem to update the ecm at all i am not sure if i got the config correct.

    B: /dev/tts/0 04
    B: /dev/tts/0 06
    SERIAL READER : /dev/tts/0 phoenix
    PHOENIX READER PATH : /dev/tts/0
    SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/tts0 6000000
    CAMKEY: /dev/tts/0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

    What version of Cccam r u running ?

    I waited more than a week...I have got the exact config you are suggesting...Since i have phoenix reader i have added following in my config lines
    PHOENIX READER PATH : /dev/tts/0
    SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/tts0 6000000

    you're missing a / after the tts on your freq line.

    Get rid of the B lines or # before them to de-activate.
    They are block commands.

    Can you see the card in cccam? If not browes to boxip:16001 and see if you can see the card. You can try with and without the word phoenix on the end of the card reader line. Try different freq like 3.7mhz and make sure the freq is correct on the reader.

    I can see the card in CCcam info.
    card reader /dev/tts/0
    handled 100(0) ecms and 358907(52333) emms
    I have been trying in 6 mhz will try 3.57 see if it makes any difference.

    Find a logger and see if your HSN is active.
    Or wait a month or so to see if it updates.
    Different freq on reader will make no difference if the updates aren't comming.

    I tried changing the frequency to 3.57 mhz the card is not even read if i see it in CCcam info...I got rid of the Get rid of the B lines as suggested by sublib25 in the cccam info i see "Handled 54(0) ecms and 9346(9346) emms after i have restarted the cccam..

    Your Cfg is correct, just have to wait and see if your HSN is still active in the stream.Could take a while.Within 4 weeks if your lucky.

    Does it take upto 4 weeks to update the card? I did CCcam info after commenting B line...

    Any idea how to check if the HSN is active.If the HSN is inactive is there a way to change to a active one?

    you need to log or find someone that is logging to give it a hit.

    "Ird**o CA Status 16 - The card has no rights for this service"

    with an E16 error message in a real dstv box / humax / pace / xsat etc etc on a DM box running CCcam you see ecm (0) - you card is no longer active. Time to replace it with a newer file - your gamma card is dead..
