The biggest changes are for the ONE models ,for the GO models there is mainly cosmetic "upgrades" in this version.

ONE models will be able to enjoy a version 9 Navcore with all features of the old original Navcore : turning the screen upside down ,the settings for the car docking station ,linking the brightness to the headlights (careful with that nly use it if you have a correctly wired docking station with full support for that feature!!) - plus most of the gimmicks that the Navcore 9 is offering like :
anti aliasing for the map in high quality ,more safety cam settings and so on....

It is ,however, reported that on certain ONE models the Navcore won't work properly ,but that is not for all versions and seems to be linked to the model numbers that you can check on the bottom of your unit.
We are working on it and I'm confident that I will be able to provide a working version for all models soon!
In the meantime it would be nice to get some feedback for the ONE models with small screens

If you not even know what a Navcore is you need some basic knowledge first ...
You should start read a bit in the forum.
It would take too long to explain you everything you need to know , so please start with some research first.

Default Navcore for wince?? possible or not?

    Hi,

I've read the link you post in the tutorial and now I have a question....

There you told navcore isnt used in winCE GPS, but I downloaded tt-infotool and it reported to me the following:

    P N A :TomTom ONE 3rd Edition - 1GB
    DeviceName:TomTom ONE
    BootLoaderVersion:55001
    Serialno.:Y11111E11111
    DeviceUniqueID:
    NavCore:8002.9117
Current Map: Iberia (Brazil, actually, version 835.2366).
    Map Version No:720.1803

Actually, I have a Mio Moov 310 unlocked and 5 gps softwares installed at one 4GB SD card... I believe those info are at TTGO.BIF ou another .TXT file because I remember that I have already opened the file with the "map version 720.1803" info before!

So, should I upgraded the navcore to version 9 or not? Will it give more options/functions to my wince unlocked MIO gps? Or that info is a FAKE info, just to TT HOME work?

    Thanks in advance.

    Fred.

    No Navcore on WinCE!
Tomtom PNA's run on Linux so there is no chance that you can use it on a WinCE device.
The latset Win version is still 7.9

XL 30 Verdict - Navcore._9.002_ONE_TTS_patched: freezes and restarts. Good for a few minutes then same again. Will try Truck version.............................

OK- two hours later can report truck TTONE9000.1637 fires up nicely - no probs so far, should mention - there is no sat indicator available on the status bar (not an issue for truckies i guess), the other is i can not seem to find any battery strength indicator and my unit died with no power warning at all. Is there something i am missing? Any other XL 30 user (or ONE xl users - i am told that they are the same unit???) that have simialr issues.
    Cheers.

Will have to go back to Navcore 8 (too many issue's with 9) Truck version a little glithcy as well. - seems to freeze up occassionaly when sat is lost, will either restart istelf or freeze out for ages. (non truck version is way worse for this behaviour)
Interestingly, i thought after installing the sat quick fix app the issues appeared- but did not test long enough to be sure.

    There is no 32bit ONE/XL - only a 32MB ...
And so far I would say the 8.412 is the best because it can give you computer voices.

    9.022.xl2009_plus_tts.CAB-navcore-ONE_XL.cab

Does not work properly on my one XL. When it first starts it complains that none of my voices are compatible with my language. When it does start up trying to enter the preferences cause it to reboot.

Any chance of a Megaupload mirror?

Which version of Navcore 9 is recommended for a Go720 ?

I tried one from a different forum and did not have any luck getting it to work properly.

    None !
The 8.351 is the official Navcore for your device.
The 9.xxx Navcores are for the ne Go x50 series...

If any I would use the 9.004 at the moment because the testing for the new 9.024 is not finnished yet ,but if you want to test it too ...
