    Default Getting Foreign Channels

Howdy, been looking around this site for awhile and only just decided to register as I finally got around to getting a satellite/box.

Currently I only have Foxtel for ANT1 the Greek channel and I have a satellite setup with a Phenoix box connected to some Optus satellite from which I get ERT and a few other foreign channels.

Since my grandmother is getting rather old and misses the old Greek channels I am trying to find a way to get them all on the Satellite and stop paying for Foxtel (since I'm paying $70+ for a single channel every month).

Can anyone give me some advice on how to go about doing this?

    Thanks in advance.

ERT is on Optus D2, don't know what else there is.

Have a look at select tv, they have a Greek package for $29.95 p/m. A member here is selling card only for this service and you use your own box.

There is one other alternative. You could use a 1 TeraByte media player that stores about 1000 divx movies. A number of sites stream greek content that can be downloaded. For example: or here

Anyway, if your Yiayia is as old as you suggest, then she would love some of those "free" B/W oldies.
