From what you've posted, With Humax the Motek works OK?.
So the problem has been isolated to the DM800, As I know nothing about DB's I would re read the set up directions for it and make sure that I had ticked the appropriate switches.
Cheers, Duck.
I have a motorised c band dish and a motek for ku... through switch. ku on 1 and cband on 2 from switch.. make sure you have the correct satellite.xml file..in etc/tuxbox.
You have to setup all sats first.. all ku on lnb1 and diseqc mode 1.2. Commited diseqc command..AA, do not use usals. select position to be stored for later. write them down ..
All cband on lnb2 ,, commited diseqc command AB, no usals..When you have all sats configured you go to scan them in and store them in positions selected earlier.
Go to SERVICE SEARCHING, POSITIONER SETUP. Push RED Button on remote and select sat.. put in details, exit to POSITIONER SETUP, select MOVEMENT .. Use green and yellow buttons to move dish... Mine usually stops moving when it gets a lock, when you get a lock store it at previous selected position. Hope this makes sense..LOL

I would set up the motek first...plug it direct to dream and try tuning in ku sats first..just do a couple..and store in allocated positions...Then do cband..If you can get them both working direct , then play with the diseqc settings..make sure your AA and AB are the right way around.
I would use the humax first to set the motek to C1, then hook it up to the dream and when you go to the Positioner setup you should have a lock.. store it at assigned location that you set in the sat setup... then go to the tune page (red button) and select another sat with known working transponders. back to Positioner setup and hilite Positioner movement, then use the Green or Yellow button to move motek until you get a lock.. assign a store position.. same procedure for each sat..
