    Default DM800 with D2 and Asiasat 3s

    I am trying to configure my DM800 with D2 and ASAT 3s. Satfinder is able to show me 3s but it does show signal when i select D2.

    I know both are working because i had both configured on strong reciever.

    Thanks,

    G'Day Cobber,
    you need to give more information.
    Are you using a motor?
    Ku band only?
    Switching?

    Made some progress finally, it had to do with the frequency, changed all three entries for LOF, LOF/H and LOF/H to 12706 and it started to show the signal.

    If it works, i will post screenshots for both the settalite configuration.

    LOF/H and LOF/L are only if you are using a Universal LNB.
    Commonly 09750/ 10600.

    You need to select the correct system here depending on the switch you are using.

    It seems the DM800 is different. Check this thread:-

    what lnb's do you have.?
    if you have 11300. you will have to go to user defined settings and then enter it as 11300, 11300, 11700.
    If you have universal you just go to universal setting in the dm800.
    also have you set the diseqc to 1.0. and also allocated committed diseqc command to AA or AB as required.

    thank you, its universal lnb for that i am using for D2, following settings allowed me to find channels on D2 but not all (it misses on scanning certain channels)
    Here are my settings at the moment:

    Configuration Mode: Advanced
    Satellite -> D2
    LNB -> LNB 2 (LNB 1 is assigned to asat 3s)
    Priority -> Auto
    LOF -> Universal LNB
    Voltage mode -> Polarization
    Increased Voltage -> Yes
    Tone Mode -> Band
    DiSEqc Mode-> 1.0
    Toneburst -> none
    Committed DiSEqc Command -> AB
    Fast DiSEqc -> no
    Sequence repeat -> no
    Command Order -> committed, toneburst

    I thought when I am doing manual scan by keeping "network scan" to yes and "only free scan" to no I should be able to see all the channels even if they are encrypted. It should find few channels at 12519 V;22500;-3/4 but it just passes it without finding anything.

    using satfinder I tried to see if I could see anything at 12519V;22500 and to my surprise it shows no SNR but if I change it from V to H then it shows 60% (9.70db). I am pretty sure vertical polarity has the channels and it also confirmed it at lyngsat.

    Anyone has any idea what is going on here ?
