Dodgy DM7020 Power Supply

Hi There,

I have been happily using my DM7020 for the last 6 months or so, Initially I had a problem with it not powering on (no orange backlight on lcd display), but eventually it just turned on and has worked ever since then. Unfortunately I had a power outage last Saturday and now the dreambox will not power on again. Does anyone have a replacement power supply they can sell me or know if this is a known issue with this model?

Have a search for caps in the PSU have done a few where they were bulging at the top

I have checked the caps and none of them seem to be bulging, any other ideas? If not I would prefer to replace the power supply as the Chinese are great at copying things they just don't bother with the finer details.

Not sure it helps but i had a DM7025 where the power supply blew and Fernbay fixed it in no time. Would definately recommend his services. He was able to fix rather than replace the PS. Not sure he can do the same but you should definately ask.
