Default Tomtom go 630 please help :)

    Hey guys,

I have previously updated two go720 with navcore and maps. no probs.
My question is i bought a tomtom go 630 for my mum and are trying to install navcore 9004 and 2661.

When i turn on my gps to get the ttgo.bif file after i have copied the navcore and australia map to the root, it just hangs on the load screen which is DU castle pic..
i did a search and found that mapsettings.cfg was to blame, however the 2661 map i DL from here doesnt have a mapsettings.cfg file.... so is there something i am missing or somehting i can do to make it load...?
is it because its a go 630? i thought they were exactly the same as 730.. except colour.

    ANy help guys

Try searching for problems regarding the 630 i remember reading that only original navcore would work on most of them patched with latest map was the way to go could be wrong but a search on the net should help you
IF IT DONT WORK USE A BIGGER HAMMER

I formatted the gps then went to tthome and downloaded their navcore.
I then copied the 845.2661 australia map to the root directory
I then DL and installed KG4.1G_Dec2009.rar the other one i DL didnt work...Keygen4.1!
I activated the map and bravo it works!
what a mission trying to get 9.004 working, i guess it doesnt with the 630 which is strange considering arnt they just a small computer.... anyway

The 630 is tricky - most of them won't accept anything but the original Navcore.
I have posted a 9.026 in different version and maybe the x40 version will work for you.
Not sure if it is woth trying though - decide yourself after a good backup.
