Had an old tomtom one in the cupboard and thought I would have a play
I installed the new navcore 9 on other page and installed latest aus maps I downloaded latest safety camera on other page as well and used latest fastactive. Both maps and safety cameras came up.
Maps work flawlessly but cannot get/find cameras in maps nor POI
Could anyone shed some light on this
Kind regards
Cam

Safety cameras from TomTom are not POI. They are a service.
You won't "see" the camera and you can't search for them on the map until you are approaching one - and most often on the same side of the road that the camera is on. Or you could prepare a route and run a demo to get the same result.

Hi, just downloaded the updates for safety cams (Safety_Cam_AU_ TomTom 26090 ) and there were two files, one .ov2 and one .ver file. When I went to update the GPS, I noticed that in my GO730 there was also a .dct file.
What is that dct file? Is it the licence file? I guess I need to keep it? If I did delete it, would Fast Activate generate a new one? Also is there supposed to be a .bmp file for the visual warning? I can't seem to see an icon of a speed camera. Any ideas?
Cheers

If have a .dct for the cams keep it to activate the cams, otherwise use FastActivate to create a new one.
There are no additional files for the TT cams necessary.
Tomtom GO730 ,Navcore 9.004 ,Bootloader 5.5256 ,Map :Australia 845.2661ttmaps and Tomplayer on 16GB SDHC class6Password for all my files: downunder

Just copy and paste the two files, overwriting the two existing ones.
If you haven't previously activated cams etc, using FastActivate is the easiest and simplest method.
