Tomtom Speed Camera AU Updates

Might be useless for some, but I guess you still have the older versions on your system?
Would you mind to check through the recent ones to dertmine when the filsize was decreased so much?
I still guess that an older file with a much bigger filesize is prefered by many users to test if the latest changes really removed a lot of know cam locations.

I don't think I have many old safety cams, as I usually keep deleting the older files. I'd have to look in my other computer in case I have some there to compare. If I find any, I'll let you know here.

I checked some old camera files. Here are the version, date and size of the ones I managed to find.

I still have a file from 2010 with 23kb in it.
Question is when exactly did the cams start missing ...
If anyone interested in that old file I upload it for further tests.

Hello, yes I'm interested Downunder..

The file should increase as new cams are added yes? The last one was 14.7 and the latest is 14.5...

Sorry, but I gave up on the forum restrictions

It is impossible to attach a tiny 23kb file and I'm not going through the trouble of uploading 23kb to a hoster.
I don't mind a few restrictions but this is .....

hi i might be in the wrong forum but i thought id give it a go anyway.
my phone is jailbroken & i understand the methods required to create a map & install speed cameras..

however i do own a ledgitimat version of tomtom australia.
you can purchase voices & traffic with no prob.. why not speed cams

the speed cam file that comes with it is soooooo old. i ahve opend it up once though cant recall the version..

is it possible to somehow uphate the cams on an original version ???

NO have tried with ifunbox.. only to discover all cams go missing

If you already have legit maps and cams all you need is to replace the old cam file with a new one - the activation stays the same!
To be perfectly clear: make a full backup using Windows Explorer - make sure hidden and system files are shown!
Download the latest safetycams from here and replace the .ov2 file in your map folder.
Done and finnished

ive tried what was posted.. thanks but it bibnt work

the cams that come with the otiginal iphone tomtom is as follows

grr too old
transfered back my original .ov2 file back into map
suppose ill have to wait till tomtom allow the feature of updating cams as a purchase

Just went through all my old camera files and I've got a "Safety_Cam_AU_TomTom.ov2" file dated 09:29am 07/Sept/2010 with a file size of 22,374 bytes. the next file I have is 14,065 bytes dated 07:26am 16/March/2011.
interestingly the oldest one I have is dated 11:30am 28/July/2009 with a file size of 23,386 bytes.....
