    Default DM7020 CI Slot

When I first started fiddling around with my DB, all I could get to work was an Irdeto cam in the CI slot. Now that the internal slots are working, my CI slot is not responding! Either my cam is stuffed or I've overlooked something. Anyone have any clues ?

Before anyone asks, I do set the cam to 'common interface' and restart. But no luck. Cards are ok - they work fine in the internal slots now...

Some images are broken on the dreams with the cam slots. I cant tell you offhand which ones were and which ones wernt, but I have run into the problem many times over the years with images. So first if you can try the cam and card in a different receiver and if they work, then try a different image.
What would you do if your server was stolen or failed beyond repair?

Gemini 4.3 image works with a CI cam and so does Pli Iolite.
Just tried it with a white card and she is okay.
Also tried a goldie with aurora.

That was both a Freecam and an X-cam module.

I hope you have the chip pointing up?

Thanks z80 m8, now working with the chip pointing upwards.

On a matter related to this thread, I assume that there are no problems operating (and updating) a whitey in the CI slot.
