    A couple of frills for your Primo installation

    3 more 3dcars

    Put files in Primo/content/cars

    **edit** It seems Primo and Amigo can use the same 3dcar icons ive just tried them and they work!

    127 3dcars for Amigo/Primo

    Gurjon Skin

    this skin has map changer capabilities the utility file is for the map changer the other is Gurjons current skin for primo download both if you intend to use map changer

    Jaz, have you looked at Gurjon's website?
    It has a so called half patch called "Bt_HP310" which apparently allows bluetooth within Igo and works with gurgon's skins.
    Worth a try on your mio

    Thx ozheat, getting bluetooth to run on iGO was easy, just needed to make changes in this line for Mio C520, i will try the half patch, but dont think it will work for Primo

    <BUTTON btn_CSBTMIO template=footer4_4a z=2 text="Bluetooth" onrelease='START_APPLICATION "\Windows\miobtm.exe" "-phoneui"' hide>

    It added a button and bluetooth worked like it should, but Primo is different, it links back to LUA files
    I have a Primo Data.zip with Bluetooth and Phone buttons, atm its a little over my head

    New Gurjon Skin 1.4

    ****** GJmpp 1.4 - 2010.06.02 ******

    1. Added sound when the appearance of lines.
    2. Added sound when the appearance of signpost.
    3. Added ability to remove the pad next street.
    4. Added bluetooth button (please turn on in menu and show in drag map window). - 2010.06.03
    5. Tech. Repair.

    Bluetooth button does nothing yet, but its there, you need to go to More, Settings, GJmpp Settings, System Settings, then 2nd from the bottom Tick "Show Bluetooth Button"
    Now back at the map screen when you drag the map anywhere, you will see top slightly right the Bluetooth button, now someone needs to code it, i am guessing its in "variable_def.ui" but any changes i make stops Primo from loading, we need the smart people to help

    Gurjon seems to have a file online now for bluetooth models.

    BTon/off is mainly for PDA's not PNA/PND, Phoneui.exe works on some pna/pnd, being playing with bluetooth and a MioC520 & Navaman S150 for a few years now, getting different programs to access bluetooth

    Gurjon has new skin version

    ****** GJmpp 1.5 - 2010.06.07 ******

    1. Not much has changed manual speed.
    2. Now the speed pad turns red, when there is over speed (manual speed)
    3. Added settings reminder of over speed (manual and standard) - beep again after a fixed period of time.
    4. Changed sound over speed.
    5. Added multidraw route (displays all routes at once).
    6. Added dynamic pad next street.
    7. Added the sign of restrict turns and adjust transparency.
    8. A lot of technical repair.
    9. 2010.06.08 Fixed show speed per miles on menu pad

    No Service.
    I have downloaded the Utility files from Gurjon link above. Could you tell me where the folder should go and how the map files should be placed in the map folder to take advantage of the Map Changer facility.There does not seem to be any documentation on the Gurjon web site on with the files,
    Any help would be appreciated. Regards Dennis.

    not using map changer i wouldnt know but heres and example from igo8...its the same

    Map Changer
    is used to change MAP folder (you need to restart, but everything will take care of skin)
    The downloaded file "map_changer_tom.zip" is to expand the iGO8 folder on the SD card.
    To ensure the path to the file .. "\iGO8\MapChanger\MapChanger.exe"

    Example ...
    In the directory "MAP" I saved the maps from TA
    In the directory "MAP_NQ" I kept the same map, but from the NQ
    Function Map Changer them switch and I need not manually move or otherwise change.
    It is possible to switch between the four manufacturers, or MAP between the four sets of different countries
    ---------------
    In SYS.TXT add...

    [switchmap]
    changer="\Storage Card\iGO8\MapChanger\MapChanger.exe"
    1=",map_ta,\Storage Card\iGO8,\Storage Card\iGO8,"
    2=",map_nt,\Storage Card\iGO8,\Storage Card\iGO8,"
    3=",map_ot,\Storage Card\iGO8,\Storage Card\iGO8,"
    4=",map_us,\Storage Card\iGO8,\Storage Card\iGO8,"

    Bold line is of course possible (necessary) adjusted by the name of your SD card or the name of the folder iGO8 on your SD card.

    ---------------

    Create folders in \IGO8\

    iGO8\MapChanger\ = for this files (MapChanger.exe, MapChanger.nfrun)

    and next folders for maps files

    iGO8\content\map = TelaAtlas
    iGO8\content\map_nt = NavTeq
    iGO8\content\map_ot = Other
    iGO8\content\map_us = Users

    ---------------
    ATTENTION:
    Each folders (map, map_nt, map_ot, map_us) MUST contain at least one map (one. FBL file)

    OK guys, I've sat quietly in the background and read all the requests and replies, but I still cannot get my Primo to say street names. I copied Voices, Audio, TTS loq and all the dll's that have to stay in the root volume from my iGO8.3. My voice selections (UK,AUS and US) all have "no spoken street names" next to them. Now that a few of us have played around with this for a couple of weeks, can someone who has it running perfectly, do a new Tutorial for Installation of iGO Primo?

    BlindPete i used the TTS pack from IGO8 posted by hollowman in the igo thread , it works fine, i have igo8 and primo and amigo and becker all sharing the same content + tts.

    In your TTS_Loq folder do you have an EnglishGB folder? and in that folder do you have Kate and Simon folders with files inside?

    If you do you have the same as me and it should work (i use kate) and also did you put this in your sys.txt

    [tts]
    tts_buffer=131072
    announce_exit_directions=1
    tts_logics=3
    priority="HIGH"
    always_say_road_names=3
    announce_street_name=1
    skip_exit_numbers=2
