You can use the PNA version of, Mio Maps v3.3, TomTom v6.02, Destinator v7, Route66 v7
They all work on my Mio with runs WinCE 5.0
gpsunderground is a good source of software and maps

If its running windows you should be able to install it. Does it have a card slot ? USB ?

Jaz808 has already advised what programs will run on windows CE 5.

What is the manufacturer and model of the unit you have?

If it has CE 5 there will be a way to install other GPD software (usually).

Different GPS units have different levels of WinCE5 installed, sometimes the company only installs enough of WinCE5 dll's to run there programs and you need to work out which dll's are missing
and sometimes newer dll's are required like aygshell.dll, and gx.dll

    Here is TomTom 6.02

    Here is Destinator 7
You will need to edit "Destinator.inf" if all the buttons dont line up as its set for 4.3" screen, its in (Destinator\Skin\All)

I will upload maps soon if needed

    Default Destinator 7 in wince

    Hello everyone,

Jaz808 has posted some information about the possibility to load Destinator 7 on a Mio C520, please Jaz808 let me know how do you achieve that, I am stuck and it will be valuable having your assistance on this. It will be great to have Destinator.

Do you know how can i get this, if you have some kind of instructions or guidance it will be great.

    Thanks.

    Default similar issues

I have recently bought a similar unit as Coshea I believe

I am wanting to run OziExplorer.
I have tried the 'rename Route66 files and installed GSFinder. I can change the shell.ini file to point to GSFinder but it just wont run GSFinder.

I set up a seperate SD Card with the OziExplrorer files renamed to 'look like' Rout66 files but when I try to save the registration details it resets every time I power the unit down (yes there is constant 12v conected). It actually runs Oziexplorer once I have entered the registration details. I do a lot of Offroad driving so want to be able to switch bwtween different nav programs.

I am not precious about Route66 but am a bit concerned about 'bricking' my unit.

Strangely enough when I am in OziExplorer and use it to define the folders to find maps and store data I can navigate to the units system files (just like windows explorer) but I can't access it with GSFinder.

    any suggestions?
