Default Optus & Telstra Network Service codes

    G'day.

Trying to sort a small issue out with my iPhone and came across a US site that started talking about using a special network service code that showed field strength. For AT&T for example, it was *3001#12345# (yeah, yeah try it - but it doesn't do anything here )

    Now.

It got me thinking. There are probably identical codes in use here to diagnose similar network/consumer issues or whatever. The consumer ones are fair enough (CND offf etc etc) but, does anyone know of "the others" if they exist ? Any friendly optus telstra mobile techs looking ??

    Nickbo

*hopes this not get me into trouble*

Here you have the special secret codes for your mobile phone.
With these secret codes you can, (without any problem), check the IMEI software version, reset to default language or deactivate simlock (only on some models). Some of the codes you see below must by typed without the SIM card in the cellphone and some with the SIM card in the phone. Please be careful! - with some of these codes you may block your cellphone.
