Did you change release method?
Some people in other forums ask for application version (they are confused)...I see only release date...
TomTom GO 730, Navcore 9.051c, 64Mb RAM, Australia 925.5412, Bootloader: 5.5250
TomTom ONE v1, Navcore 9.170SE, 32Mb RAM, Australia 925.5412, Bootloader: 5.5244
ASAP (18-02-13)
I guess it makes sense this way as it is very easy to make sure the date of the version is newer than the map (meta release date).

Hey guys, I ended up running through the whole sequence again (delete, update, copy maps and fast-activate on, and then try to activate), and it was still failing. I then tried again with Albert's Easy Activator v6.14 and it gave me some more info in the debug window - I was getting an error running gzip.exe, complaining:
"fatal error - system shared memory version mismatch detected - 0x8A88009C/0x2D1E009C. This problem is probably due to using incompatible versions of the cygwin DLL. Search for cygwin1.dll using the Windows Search function and delete all but the most recent version <etc>."
I don't have Cygwin installed on this PC, and couldn't find any other version of the DLL on my computer, so I gave up and used a different computer - which was able to run FastActivate successfully.
I thought that info might help someone else, thanks for reading.
Cheers
edit: this post might not make much sense, since my previous post seems yet to be approved by mods ? I replied to a post instead of the thread, so maybe that's why. Anyway - long story short, FastActivate wasn't working, turns out it was my PC having issue mentioned above.

This file contains a subfolder "Older Versions". I have a tomtom one, do I use that one? TNX
In hundrets of postings it always says: use the latest version of FA, so I hope this answers it.

Hi everyone, and thank you for this fantastic tool !
I'm actually facing an issue with tomtom home : map share update doesn't work.
Everything else is working fine, so am I missing any trick ?
thanx !
Yes you are as you expect map share for maps that are only a few days old.
Give the users time to report and TT time to check and provide the changes
But if you mean a general problem you should activate map share on both the device and in Home.

Actually, there was over 8000 mapshare correction to download according to the device. Thank you for your answer. My issue was related to the fact I didn't log-in using TTHome, and one must do it since few last versions... (shame on me...)

Thanks for this. Had to create a meta.txt and use that for the new maps since some of the meta data for the latest maps hasn't been integrated into fastactivate yet.

FastActivate - latest update 28th March 2013.
Important new feature: If you get a .dct error message, it usually means the meta has not been released.

Very annoying to wait for hours out to download small files from hosting site.
What happened to the idea of hosting & downloading small files directly from the Forum?
Lemonfish, I'm runnign out of ideas about the boot loop on my G710. Done almost all suggested here but in vain.
Today I'm starting from scratch AGAIN by reinstalling Nav 9.485FB which is your fullbackup and then will install Aus905-4754 once download completes-9 min to go.
