    Default Strange signal

    I have a 11300 LNB with my dreambox. Set 3 LNB settings to 11300, turned off 22Khz. Got EPG for all channels. Went to menu and selected reebot now. When it came back no EPG and SNR = 59%.

    Is it possible to kill dreambox in this way? I thought you had to hot plug connections on the back of the box? If so surely this is a warranty issue as all I done was a reboot now?

    I have been using the default 11700. How do you determine what threshold value?

    I have always used 11700 because it was default and worked. What is the threshold for?

    So you are saying the threshold of 11300 allows you start scanning from 11300 mhz or 11.3ghz. You chaps are always a mystery to me as a Ku single always starts scanning at 12ghz. How many times on here do we have to go over this (search is you friend)

    Why then will my Ku single LNB's with a LO of 11300 not find anything on 11ghz set the way you suggest?

    It is either written on;

    1. The box the LNB comes with
    2. The documents in the box
    3. on the LNB

    in 90% of all cases 12ghz

    So for the viewers at home I'm assuming it's the lower bandwidth figure as you said above it's usually 12ghz (12.25 to be exact) for a 11300. This won't be the case for a uni or 10700 lnb though which would be 11700. And the dreams have uni lnb's configured by default hence the threshold set at 11700 which is also the same for the 10700!
