    Default 7020 v 7025 - toss a coin ?

I cant help myself I want (need?) another dreambox
I have a 5620 - no provision for usb,cf or hdd - has rf - cant stream real well - but is a solid cool running box - cant see what the 5620 has over the 500 except internal psu.
I also have my main play box a 7000 - with usb and hdd - no cf - no rf
the missus just came home with a bunch of girls - so I lose me 7000 as she plays dj with the mp3's
So I want a power solid box to set and forget as media server. (Sat, mp3,jpg)
    I have been tossing up on a 7020 or a 7025
I like the dual tuner idea of the 7025 - but is enigma2 a positive or a negative as far as images go? - seems some things are missing - but e2 might have a bigger future.
What about streaming - 7020 has had some network issues - has the 7025 ?
how much would you pay for a 7020 or a 7025 -guess they are all clones
somebody give me an opinion.- hell - toss a coin

7025 if you want to record while watching another,
7020 if don't need that function.

Simple as that. That network issue you mention... i have never heard of it, i have no issues with 7020's at all, in fact, they are better and do slightly more than my trusty 7000
More onboard memory and seperate PSU, better image structure. No need to run a CF or USB.

You do realise the 7025 can never run a serial card reader, yes?

… tend to agree ... 7020 is probably better value and there is a LARGE user base ...

I say better value because as far as I know the 7025 'clone' is not available as yet (last time I asked - which was last week) ...

Whilst I had the 7020 in my possession and a good play with it - I must admit the 'clone' build quality was excellent .. the main board construction was faultless and the overall feel to the whole unit is 'solid' - just like the original (identical) ...

There are numerous images available - and a wealth of knowledge - so for around US$300 - if you import - or $400 if via a local supplier its excellent value

... if there ever is going to be a whiety-2 then the knowledge that the serial port will work with a phoenix is a comfort as well

... OH ... found absolutly NO network problems - was streaming to 2 PC's without a single drop out - and that was via 54g connection ... excellent ...

I couldn't care if it was enigma 3.11

Do actually think this will make a difference to your TV viewing or box operation? Just buy the bloody thing, there are bigger problems in the world to waste your time on

If you are un sure, just buy both boxes and sell the one you don't like. But i bet you will keep them both! Cos at the end of the day, they are both good.

HD broadcasts will probably matter soon.
