I am also assuming that a universal LNB is more expensive, therefore they wouldn't be paying more for it than they have to.
It depends how long ago the dish/LNB was installed.

Yes, all new Austar/Foxtel installations have 10700 LNB's but there are still a lot of older (now disconnected) installations from when they installed 11300 LNB's.

Obviously, those older installations will not work now with the D3 frequencies.

If you are currently receiving the Austar channels on the Austar box, then the LNB is definitely a 10700 LO.

with the 10700 LO selected a manual scan on 12305 still finds no services. I have selected network scan and clear before scan. I am assuming I don't need to change any of the voltage settings in the tuner setup?

Also probably worth mentioning if I try an Auto scan I get:
ERROR - failed to scan (error starting scanning)!

Also worth mentioning upon changing the LNB freq. I can no longer get a lock using the Satfinder, if I set the tuner config back to simple I can get a lock by using the 12305 frequency.

You should have increased voltage to 'yes'.
Also you have in your first picture Optus B3.??

If not you will have to input your LNB's local oscillator freq in all three fields, it will be either 10700 or 11300.

I'd also check your satellites.xml to see if it is complete.
Often scanning in a few channels is a symptom of wrong LNB settings.

Change your threshold to 11700 and you should be right.
