US maps for Nuvi 1250
Hi I am trying to get maps for the lower part of the US, that being Texas/New Mexico/Mexico.
I have used software before, for my FIL's Garmin (not sure of the model now) and I was able to drag over the map and copy them to an SD card and then put that SD card into the GPS, but I can't remember what the software was (I know it was Garmin, just not sure of what it was called).
Can anyone help me out with this and where I can get a copy of the software and maps.

The software you are looking for is MapSource (you may still find old versions of this at GPSU), which has been superseded by Garmin BaseCamp, which is free to download at
