have a sumsung SP50L2HX and a LG RT-44SZ21RB for starters various problems the lg needs a ballast and the mirrors replaced inside the light enigine the samsung had a yellow hue to the picture belive if i replace the driver board in the light enigine it might come good aslo in need of a ballast as the wires from it to the lamp have been badly squashed by the last person to open the assembly nothing reaching the lamp and preventing the unit from starting.

ALL us techs in the metro areas are keeping a lookout for these units as there are many ways to make one good one out of 2 bad ones

    dont fancy your chances!
When I explained to the guy what avatar I wanted, that wasn't what I meant!

Thanks for the heads up, in any case willing to pay for the parts I need and if they happen to be left overs from someone doing the same I don't mind it would be a waste to see these units not get repaired.
