The site wouldnt been a NSW School Site?
Hi Team,
Any one had any experience installing, servicing smoke beams, this model in particular
It's wired to a concept 4000 and it's giving 'trouble alarms'
After looking at the wiring diagram and seeing how it's been wired on site there may be something amiss...?
There is currently one zone wired into the NC input on the T3 terminal (for trouble alarms) and one zone wired into the T1 and T2, NO input on the T4 terminal for the smoke alarm.
My question is: are the beams independent of each other, with the top beam on T1 and T2 and the bottom on T3 and T4 so should there be another zone wired into the T3 and T4 input on Terminal 4 for correct operation.
Any help on this would be appreciated

that link doesnt appear to be working
link worked for me.
without reading to much of the manual heres a little info for you regarding smoke beams:
if you block the sensor completly it will go into fault not fire
if the lens get dirty it will go into fault
you need to block approx 70% of the lens to get it to go into fire
yep, realise all that, i can read the manual too.
One of the problems is that as they are a latching device when they arm / disarm the area the power is cycled. When the power go's off it causes a trouble alarm, which is fine, but sometimes.... not all the time the trouble restoral doesn't come through and the client gets called for this, which is becoming a bit irritating.
I've done cable testing and it's not a cabling issue, hoping someone has had some "hands on experience" with these
