Default R128 running on dc only

I want to get a R128 to bootup on battery only. Once running on AC it will run on battery only but can you fool it into starting on DC only?

    Feature 22 Segment 6 turn on 5, Feature 16 Segment 2 turn 4 off, Feature 25Segment 3 3 = 0
You can now connect 12-24vdc to the ac input

Connect 12 volt battery to panel leads, with a spare bit of wire on Battery +, touch one of the AC terminals and release and panel should now be booting up.

    Enable DC operation.
It's in my manual. Maybe your using an NX manual instead of Reliance manual.
In DL900 it's on system 2 tab, called DC mode. Again depends on what version software you have. My version is 4.01
