Help with Panel ID
Hi would the attached photo be an ITI Simon older version or some thing similar
-
Thanks George have found the install manual and theses things seem to require an ITI Model CS 4000 receiver at the control room
looks like an NX upgrades on he way
Would I be correct in assuming there's a 0, a 7, a 2 and possibly a 3 in the PIN?
didnt get that far i think they will bin it
I used to look after a tyre place that had a pristine white codepad except for the black number 1 and 2.
112212111122112
Hard to guess, easy to remember.
11 was a racehorse.
22 was 1 2.
1111 race
and 22112.
Have to up the entry delay
Joking aside, I cringe at ultra-short entry delays by people who think an extra ten seconds will make enough difference to justify the inevitable false alarms caused by short entry times.
If the bad-guy can get to your panel in less time than it can get a signal out to a monitoring centre, it's a dodgy installation. False alarms are bad for the industry.
