ive also been following the same thread and can say i have it working now on my hp ipaq 614c.
Hi guys,
Just thought I'd make mention here of a topic I've been following for the last couple of days
and I haven't seen any mention of it here.
Basically, TomTom 7 was released on a HTC Diamond Mobile Phone, someone ripped it,
and it's very quickly being hacked to work on just about everything!! LOL!!
Link to discussion is here:
I have been watching and testing eagerly...just waiting for a memory issue to be sorted, but seems to work nicely otherwise!!
Regards

I saw this on XDA-Dev a few days ago, but it wasn't cracked on there yet...only just saw this on that thread yesterday...finally we have TT7 on the PDA!
Latest Aussie map is 720.1838 and can be found on torrents. Have tried it on a garmin Ique M5 which runs PPC wm2003se. So far all good.
TomTom Application version 7.450 (9028)

Map needs to be keygened with your device ID
map then needs to be placed on the root of your mem card

Hi Scotsman,
I have the 720_1838 maps working no problem, did you use the keygen on the map?? (seems you gotta do it for any map you use)
And did you install them to the root of or SD card??
As i say all appears to be working fine on my Navman PiN570, except i don't seem to be getting a sattelite reception!!! Bugger!!
Cheers

I got it working with 720_1838, just make sure you use the keygen and to also use your device id info. you also need to have the meta file for the 720_1838 map which is on here somewhere by memory.
Speaking of memory my pda only has 56meg of ram and with this TT version installed it leaves me with about 3 meg free, so its memory hungry.
As for this map its still missing a lot of roads, my inlaws street which has changed name about 5 years ago is still not on it correctly, i have to use the old street name and number to get it correctly.
Hi Satboy,
When you installed it from the CAB file, did you install to you PDA's main memory or to your SD card??
When i installed it on my old Navman POS, i installed it to SDMMC, Removed the SD card,
then deleted the install with add and remove, only had 2 files installed into the flashmemory though.
That way my copy is only on SD, and not using any space in the PDA.
Maps and everything are in the SDMMC...so pretty much it's a portable install!!
Cheers

Looks like its time for me to to do an upgrade on the Asus.
Thanks for the heads up , I am a member at ppcwarez but havent been there for a while.
So can we confirm exactly what the latest available versions ( map and app ) are ?
Hi Brian,
The way i installed mine on my PDA is the following way
Create a folder on your pc c: drive and call it Keygen
copy the tt7_keygen.exe, the the Australia _7201838 folder that contains the new map, the meta file that goes with that map and the file zip file that you get from
Once you have those files in the keygen folder do the following.
Start your command prompt:-
Start -> run -> cmd -> OK
Type in :-
cd C:\Keygen click "Enter"
Type in :-
tt7_keygen.exe Australia_720_1838 ABCDE12345 ( Replace this with your Device ID )
Your device id can be found in the file ttnavigator.bif which is located on your Pda Sd card, look for the followin string for your ID
DeviceUniqueID xxxxxxxxxx
When Entering your ID dont leave the space, make sure its on complete number
If you have done the following correct you should get a msg saying OK
Once this has been done copy all the map files from the Australia_720_1838 folder into your SD cards Australia Map folder, all i did was over right my existing map files.
Then copy the zip file TomTom_Navigator_7.450.9028_repack2 into the directory 2577 on your Sd card
Run you Pda file manager and execute that file and it should ask you if you want to install TomTom, click Ok and it should all be done. Reboot your Pda and it should hopefully work .
Note: I have just noticed that repack3 of 7.450.9028 is out which allows you to run Version 6 and 7 Maps, i have based the above information on the repack2 file so not sure if repack3 is the same way to install as i would assume if you still want to use your old ver 6 maps you dont need to register your maps and use the keygen, im guessing all you need to do is just copy that repack file into the appropriate folder on your Pda and execute and it should update the App version but not map.
Hope all that makes sense.
