    Default Ness R16

    Hey,

Just moved into a rental and it has this system. I am re-connecting with the monitoring center to monitor the system.

Will i have to plug the alarm into the "phone" socket of my ADSL filter to stop it interfering with my ADSL connection?

    Cool

Yes , you certaily will and make sure it is a "QUALITY" filter. The NESS panels are super sensitive to ADSL signals & go absolutely apeshit.

    Cool

The two yellow wires are the 16/18V ac & the green is earth. The yellow being AC means it doesn't matter which way round you connect them , there is no polarity. DO NOT CONNECT THEM TO ANYTHING LABELLED 12V
