Do you want the sirens to be silent in partial mode? If so, I'd ask what the point is.
Hello all,
Anyone know if there is a way to silent partial arm on the NX panels?
I read that you can press * exit before but this only silent exit for a full set.

When I press "partial" on my code pad I get no exit time sounds.
When I press "on" on my code pad I get exit timer sounds.
If this is what the OP is referring to I thought it was standard
sorry, I was refering to silent arm, ie no sound. we have 2 keypads at different entries to the house and when set partial arm late at night it wakes people up with the 1 second loud tone from the keypads, this is what I would like to silent
Function 93 which you need the installer code for has an option to make Code Pad Silent , but Ive never used this option
This may help. It is an extra step every time you arm, but does not affect normal operations.
The exit delay can be silenced by pressing [r]-[Exit] before arming the control panel, or when using the re-exit option. The exit
delay can also be silenced permanently in all partitions.
I think that is suppost to be * Exit (not an 'r' key on the control panel).
As mentioned on first post this silents any exit sound for a full set but doesn't silent the one second loud tone when doing a partial arm.
Thanks for all your suggestions but it looks like I can't silents the keypad partial arm tone only.
Put blutack over the sounder in the keypad to quieten it a little.
No Secure a real Aussie would use chewing Gum
Blutac, chewing gum or sticky tape
or I just remembered I could use the function to raise lower the tone as some tones are as quieter than others ( * 0 1 raise 2- lower #).
We had a Tech in TAS who thankfully moved to QLD , who for some reason now and then would cut the DAS K/P Piezos from the board, if he was wanting to make it silent he could have just programmed it
