Yes I got it to work, but it was temperamental,

Some days works well other days the app tells me I am using the wrong firmware.

    Hello,

You will find that the message you are getting is that you are not using a version 7.8 or above of the D8/D16 PCB to control the outputs.

In the firmware on the D8/D16 it didn't allow you to control the AUX outputs and from version 7.8 and above it was added so you can.

Although you may have a version 7.8 or above board, and running the aComms app you will find that when you open the app and press the AUX buttons you might get a message saying you don't have the correct version firmware.

If you leave the app open for about 3-4 seconds before pressing the AUX buttons it will work. The app needs to poll the panel to find out what version the D8/D16 is before it sends the command (as it needs to be version 7.8 or above for the command to work) and this poll is the 4th poll in the list.

In the next version (v.1.0.4) there will be a small change and it should fix this problem.

This happens at random times, even when the app is running for a period of time,

I will play around with this and see if I can find the reason this is happening as I have never see this happen before.

There will be a new version release soon that hopefully will fix these issues some of you are getting with the AUX outputs.

There is now a new version available, which has been released on the Google Play Store.

I'm interested in installing this on my D16.

Do you power it from the 12V outputs on the panel, or a separate power supply?

We have installed a few of these and so far they have worked well.
