Default Bosch 16+ SMSing via VOIP

I've installed a Bosch 16+ System at my house with the intention to use the SMS option for pseudo monitoring. I am on Naked DSL and use mynetfone for my VOIP provider. I can get the panel to dial my mobile easily yet i have an issue with the SMSing. Through mynetfone, it wont accept the telstra sms gateway phone number, and i get the "communication failure" Error code. mynetfone have an sms service yet i can't find a physical number to call.

    What i want to know is, what are my options in this instance;
Is it possible to do what i want with my setup?
Is it possible to do what i want using IP and just have the panel email me?

    What other options are available?

    Cheers
    Armers

Cancelling your insurance policy and hanging a large sign out the front which says "Welcome to Rob".

I think when you wrote "pseudo monitoring" you knew it was a weak unreliable option. But that wasn't enough and you've added communications paths which are specifically not intended for your application. How many points of failure would you like?

Yes, you can also have IP Communicators which email you. The question you probably haven't considered, is what happens next?

I am aware that its a weak unreliable option, hence the posting to here, i am basicly opening the floor to suggestions and "questions i've not considered". What i want to know is where to go from here? GSM + monitoring company... or IP and monitoring company? Or just leave the screamer and flashy lights on the house and pray someone else comes looking? Even though i've seen crooks continue to empty a property with pizos going off in the background.

On the side of monitoring company's, I've only had limited exposure to them and the two that i have were useless. Maybe i'm just using the wrong company?

So any suggestions from here would be great thanks.

    Cheers

Try using the following numbers which divert to a sms gateway and should solve your problem. Included with bosch panel info.
    13450641 and 13451825

Unfortunately neither of those numbers work on the voip system... i get an error message of invalid number on the voip box. Now after relooking at the history on the voip box it the panel seems to be adding a 61 to the front of the numbers is that something in the actual program to turn off as i surly didn't add it in the gateway section in the programing.

Want about if you were to manually dial these numbers on your normal voip phone. Does it not connect/dial? To check there is no alarm programming error.

Monitoring by a graded central station is the only way to go.
I would also suggest that this be via an IP Platform e.g. Ethernet/GPRS or twin-SIM GPRS as phonelines can be trivially cut. You can then do away with your phoneline and end up with some change in your pocket.
