Default Adding VoiceNav to Hills NX4

    Hi

I have a Hills NX4 alarm system with a VoiceNav touchpad. I have added an additional VoiceNav touchpad and tried addressing it (setting the code pad number and area) but its not showing all the areas like the original. Only area 1 is lit, and turns red when alarm is armed. The original one is functioning as normal with all areas lit. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

You need to program the Voicenav with the area it is controlling. This is in the Voicenav manual it is completely different programming from the standard code pads.
An after thought is an NX4 only has one area.

Ok, well I have tried following the advanced system configuration menu sequence, but that doesn't change anything. I have tried adding 1 to the original values with no effect. I'm also only able to select Code pad area number 1, no other numbers are available.
The original VoiceNav programming is as follows:

    Code pad number: 1
    Code pad area number: 1
    Code pad room number: 0
    Code pad starting zone: 1

If it helps, the system only has 4 sensors connected, but the original VoiceNav has all areas (1-8) lit. Obviously only 1-4 flash when presence detected.

Using the Area Led's as Zone Indications is an option in codepad - advanced system configuration menu 0: option 6 turn on option 7.
