Default A high end GPU card

I'm after a new GTX 980 GPU card with Nividia Cuda and I would like to ask some general quests on these three cards one being the GeForce GTX 980 and the Asus GTX 980-4GD5 and the Gigabyte GTX 980. The question I would like to know besides name is there any difference in them.
    GeForce GTX 980

    Asus GTX 980 4GD5

    Gigabyte GTX 980

    Gaming GPU
I also have looked at the GiGabyte GTX 980 Gaming GPU but its 12 MM (312mm long) to long (looks different than the other two) and if I purchased that one I would have to cut a bit out of my Hard Disk tray and I don't really want to do that not unless its superior than the other two which will just fit into my computer being slightly shorter..

    What do you think.

It really depends upon what you wanted it to do. My cheapie 1Gb nvidea card displays my movies quite nicely thank you. What did you end up with?

Gigabyte GTX 980. Its extremely quick for number crunching only bettered by the GTX Titan Black.

Thanks for your offer but I'm also collecting a collection of GPU's. I sold my 750ti but I kept the GTX 580 and 560 to use maybe one day on other computers if needed
