Lenovo devices packaged with malicios adware "Superfish"
Security experts last week warned that the adware broke secure connections on affected laptops to access sensitive data and inject advertising.
It does that in a way that leaves the machine exposed to hackers and other malicious programes that steal data or spy on a user’s online activities.
"Clearly this issue has caused concern among our customers, partners and those who care about Lenovo … For this, I would like to again apologise," Lenovo's chief technology officer Peter Hortensius said.
