    Default PS2 power supply ok for PS1?

    Hi All,

    Is it okay to run a PSone using a PS2 Power supply. The output on the PSOne power pack is 7.2V from memory, the PS2 power back is 8.5 Volts I think. Will it damage the PSone ?

    do not do it mate , the psone power supply has an output of 7.5v @ 2 a
    the ps2 power supply has an output of 8.5 @ 5.65 a
    it will work , but you will also do damage and quite quickly
