Default Play tv Ps3??

Any one tried this in Australia??
Looks promissing as a cheap alternative to tivo.
I assume HD ready means it actually can record in HD??
Released in the UK now, my question is,is our HD broadcast the same frequency's as theirs??

I heard Harvey Norman was selling a complete package, PS3, 400g Hdd, and Tuner around $1100 a little while ago something like 200-220 just for the tuner

After a fair amount of reading I found out the following, the UK release does tune full HD content in Australia(and records HD) except SBS, Something to do with Broadcast format??To set up just chose other country.
Now the problem is to import or wait for the Aussie launch in Jan/Feb 09.
Hopefully may have fix for SBS.(Most assume software based fix)
Price will be apparently around $200, add the cost of upgarding the hard drive and your already up to around $400.
Any opinions on spending $400 to get a HD PVR??

hmm sounds like a good cheap way for me to get a PVR for the back room!

ill be waiting for the locally sold tuner, dont want to risk not having SBS. might go pre-order it at ebs or something.
