Default CFW Help

Hi
I just got a pandora battery and mem stick with 4.01m33 CFW on it

Mem stick read ok in PSP
I charged the Pandora Battery

then

I insert the mem stick then the Pandora Battery
but that it
nothing happened
except the green power light on the PSP came on
the the screen didn't.

It should have come on straight away, shouldn't it?

thanks

its possible that you have one of the TA88 v3 motherboards that cannot be hacked as yet.

what firmware is currently on your psp? when did you buy your psp? Is it a slim or phat psp?

it's a yellow simpsons slim v3.60

Jaz808 said has the same one and is now running 4.01m33

some people have suggested the MMS is wrong
and do again

But could it be it just doesn't like the Brand of Mem Stick
it's a KINGSTON
but on the menu screen it does read the stick ok
just a thought

that firmware should be no problems to load cfw on.

what size mem stick? anything over 2G and it most likely wont work.

check out this link: MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

it is a pdf file with an easy step by step guide into creating MMS.

1G should be fine. Follow the guide in the link i gave you and download the software from the links it provides and you should have no problems. I have done both phat and slim psp's using this guide with no problems at all.

This was the lastest info i could find
which suggests that the Battery is the one at fault

from this guide
Make a Pandora Magic Stick and JiKick Battery without cmd or anything. - PSP Hacks - Forums

Q: When I boot Pandora, I get a solid green light. No Wifi, or MS, or menu.
A:Make sure you converted the battery. Make sure the ipl is written.

Sounds like what happened to me

oh PS
thanks for the link nihonjin will check that out

Sounds like more of a mem stick issue. What app did u use to make the MMS(psp grader, DC7 etc). The pandora battery will turn on the psp & it sounds like it is doin its job...if the MS is corrupt or not prepared properly u will get a black screen.

but i didn't make it

I Brought MMS with the Pandora Battery

I sent back the Battery
he said that was ok and is on the way back i believe
I just sent him back the MMS today, to get that checked

just curious too
can the PSP be fussy about the battery brand and memory stick brand ?
