Went out last nigt to te midnigt release of gta4.
brought it home, ejected cod4, and when i went to put in gta4 te bloody thing wouldnt accept ANY disc i put in. The mechanism would not accept the disc. You could physically pus it in but it wouldnt "suck" the disk in. Quite disapointed i did a frantic google search. Some methods came up suc as holding te eject button for 10 seconds, reseting ps3. Tried all tese still no go.

Out of frustration i turned off the unit from the power and turned it back on. Weird but it worked .


So if your ps3 is no longer accepting discs power on power off. Just thougth id get this thread up if anyone else has a similar problem in the future.
