    Hoping for a easy fix
    PS2 39002 Pal.
The disc isn't spinnig up at all.
I've tried adjusting the Tangential Skew slightly and the Radial Skew cog slightly but no go.

    Thanks for the replys.

The PS12 fuse is ok, and it will do a 1/4 turn when trying to spin up.

Who is the recommended supplier for Laser Head Units?

    Thanks again

Almost certain it will be the laser(optic).....problem is you cant them NEW anymore, & refurbs are a hit & miss as well as pricey for what your getting

Thanks Ljay, so what do you all suggest?
Do I write this console off and get a NEW chipped slimline, or try to pick up a 2nd hand laser unit and hope it works?

Anyone got a Laser lying around

    Thanks again

I try and talk people out of it these days, although if its been chipped (and its a recent decent chip) then it might be worth it, but you might be throwing good money after bad, the refurb might die in a few months.

From my point of view its safer if people trade them in to EB as a working console and get a newy, lasers in slims are pretty standard and cheap.

    Thanks for your thoughts mate.
It's quite a few years old now and had a LOT of use.

Just a query, what is EB? Is there one in WA that you know of

Have to agree with nsdn on that.....refurbs are hit & miss

    EB is the store...
