| Junior Member | hey guys, I havn't used these forums in years, but would any one be able to point me in the right direction for getting my PSP Slim 3.71 working with a custom firmware? I don't have access to a fat PSP, so I'm hoping there is a way of doing it with only my slim PSP ... or if someone knows someone in Sydney that could help me out, that would be great! Cheers |

| Junior Member | You dont need someone in sydney to help you, You could do it yourself easily.. Without the need of a Phat Psp. All you need is a Pandora Battery (You can buy one from DealExtreme for $11, As seen in Coverts Thread) And a Magic Memory Stick (A normal memory stick, With some files on it, Use Psp Grader V1 To make it) Heres a noob friendly guide: Muppet-Modding Easy Flash PSP Slim / PSP Grader Lite Tutorial - MaxConsole Forums |

| Junior Member | Thanks NSDN, and daphil, I decided to purchase my own Pandora battery, as it came with a 4gb memory stick for $31 delivered.. Can't beat that ? I'm assuming I'm going to need alot of room for games once I get it working.. Quote:

| Junior Member | hey guys, the gear came alright, and I managed to do the firmware thing tonight, following the Muppet-Modding Easy Flash PSP Slim / PSP Grader Lite Tutorial - MaxConsole Forums the only problem i had was that the version of psp grader used in the tutorial is v001, and the newest is v005 .. got it working though now, im just wondering about installing some games. Ive got a bunch of .cso .iso / PSP_GAME + UMD_DATA.BIN Where should these files go? Do I need a "Loader"? I'm downloading Devhooks now.. we'll see how it goes.. I'm assuming the loader loads onto the memory card..then the ISO dir is created ?? I'm going to use my current 4gb card - PSP > >COMMON >GAME >SAVEDATA >SYSTEM |

| Premium Member | Create a ISO folder in the root and put the .cso/.iso files in there. Also make sure you have enabled the m33 driver or you will get some weird 80xxxx error when you try to run the .iso etc.
