Default PS3 Movie, how many GBs downloaded?

If you purchase a movie using a voucher/Card etc, how much data is needed for the movie to be downloaded onto the PS3?
Is it the same as on a DVD, between 2 and 4GB?
HD I guess would use more but I gather its much slower to download as well.
I have Telstra Bigpond Internet using 3G with an 8GB data allowance per month so I like to see in advance what it needs to be done.

When I was at my daughters recently, her partner bought the 'Wrath of the Titans' and what impressed me was it was FULL SCREEN, not that bloody wide sceeen missing inches top and bottom of the screen as DVD/Blurays do.
As I live 20 ks from the local Video outlet, having to return an overnighter is a costly nuisance.

who would you be purchasing the movie from gordon ? It would also depend on the movie length and quality.

Just a thought Gordon, if its Bigpond Movies, it might be counted as unmetered data and not be an issue ?

Unmetered sites let BigPond Broadband Members on ADSL, Cable or Wireless plans (excluding pre-paid or hourly plans) access downloads, video streams and editorial content without affecting their monthly usage limit.

Is there an umetered dot on this page up the top, right hand side ?

No sanity, not Bigpond movies, I am aware of them but still learning about their system.
From what I could workout from the Bigpond site and the Telstra shop is with Bigpond, unless you have a TBOX (ADSL only) you can only view the movies from them on a computer. There is a caveat in their T&C's that says it may not be possible to connect a TV or other 'monitor' to screen them and I not interested in that at all.
The daughters partner used his PS3 connected to an LG TV, went on line and with a voucher card he bought at JB hifi (PlayStation Network card) and went to a 'PlayStation' site and got the movie from there and I just wondered what the download would be for a movie.
I have to say in almost 18 years, I have bought ONE movie from Austar and we did do the Wrestling on PPV a long time ago and thats it.

PS3 is between 1 and 2GB per SD movie or around 4GB for HD movie downloads are slow
    and probably metered.
