My mate purchased the Samsung LA52A650 last Wednesday and I couldn't wait to try my PS3 out on his screen as he only has an X360.

I was surprised to see that the X360 (with upscaling to 1080p set via the machine) games look much better. MGS4 is not native 720p (it's only 1024 x 768) so it really showed with his HDTV as it looks good but not great.

It's a wicked HDTV though I must say, the 650 series seems to have solved the 100Hz debacle the 550 series had.

Still Gears of War on his set had my jaw on the floor and Bioshock never looked so good, not to forget Mass Effect. What a great fricken set!
