Default speaker wire

Hi,

My wife runs Karaoke and has just got herself a new setup, now my question is she wants to use one of her older speakers as a floor monitor but they connect via speaker wire, her new amp has its own monitor control but it needs to be connected via a plug. is there anything out there that we can use to convert the speaker wire to plug connection? I hope this makes sense?

cheers
rob

You should be able to buy plugs from dick smith(if you are lucky) or jaycar.
Probably a 6.5mm phono plug.

Is that it?

You have to solder it.
If you don't know anyone( you must know someone with a soldering iron.), go to the tv repair shop, will only take a couple of minutes.
