![]() | I have been thinking about getting a better TV card for my AV computer. A friend brought me an NTSC VHS cassette the other day and asked me to copy it to DVD. I have a National NV-G500 multi-system VHS deck which will play back almost any video system. It will output a signal that is watchable on a PAL TV, but there is a black bar and foldover/underscan at the bottom of the picture as it's not a true PAL signal that the VCR puts out in this mode. I think they call it quasi-PAL. Anyway, if I had an NTSC capture card I could rip the cassette to my computer; systems-change it digitally, then burn to DVD. Rather than buy an NTSC-only capture card, I'd sooner buy a multi-system one that can accept a wide range of systems - NTSC, PAL, SECAM, PAL-M etc. Can anyone suggest such a card - who makes it etc and the model number? |
