![]() | Hi Sanity, Haven't tried any others. Strange thing is that I have replicated the same setup on all the PC's in the house, and it only blocks this one. I can see the site and can read the posts as a guest, but when I go to log on it throws that message at me. I have turned off everything and still it continues. I had a read of the google search results and it says about changing something in the config but replacing a line somwhere... that lost me. I just don't get ![]() |

![]() | Im wondering if the person who set it up has done something to the sites you can view. ie network admin etc. It sounds like a filter or settings on your end. Its new yes? Reinstall windows should fix it. |

![]() | Hi sanity, something like Mozilla? Godzilla, I spent all of yesterday prepping this Pc if I have to reload again I will lose the plot. I agree its in the settings, If I go to the web page privacy section and reset everything then wipe out all the sites I can log in but the next time it says no............. the other thing is its just this site ![]() I got this off google, but we don't have those options anymore??? I receive a "POST requests from foreign hosts are not allowed" error when logging in This error normally occurs when you have your forums on a sub-domain. It is due to some new security precautions added in vBulletin to prevent POST requests from other domain names from being sent to your forums. To solve this problem, login to your Admin CP, click on 'vBulletin Options' in the left frame, and then select the 'General Settings' group. Find the 'Post Referrer Whitelist' setting there and add your domain name to that list in the format specified Last edited by myf360f1 : 23-11-08 at 12:31 PM. |

![]() | Not sure if I have figured this out but when I installed CC cleaner and scaned everything, I had some cookies and registry issues which it fixed. I have been able to log on for the first time. Will update this thread. Thanks to those for offering some ideas, it really does help ![]() |

![]() | Hi B4L No I can guarantee the boot disc came from an impeccable source, master engineered so that a cretin like me can pop in the drive and hit go and hey presto all done, BLOODY BRILLIANT. If all software was that easy to load I reckon we could solve world poverty ....LOL No I am now confident that it was a combination registry and cookie issue cos that scan has done something and now we're cooking with AV GAS. I have also loaded a heap of stuff from the very generous hoe and others in the Premium section. For you Non members take a hint Join and you won't regret it Anyway this thread can close now as I am sure I have it wrapped now. Just in case I haven't thank you enough Mr #$@#%*& Cheers that Software is a ripper ![]() |
