![]() | Hi, Just wondering about being able to edit the first post in a new thread after XYZ minutes? The reason I ask is that I was thinking of sharing an app that I am developing, its beta and not ready yet but in a week might be ready to share (if anybody even wants to use it might not even be worth it) but if I start a new thread and then its encounters say errors is it then possible to edit the first post with the updated (fixed) version instead of having to re-post the fixed version further down after the error posts... I guess what I am asking is, can the first post be like heres the app...located at megaupload then people who use it it go, theres errors here, I go away and fix it, then I just post the fixed version back in the first post position with an fixed error note? example blurb about app link to mega upload fixed: offset times xx/yy fixed: download from oztivo xx/yy fixed: turned your mac into a pc! xx/yy ![]() if this is not possible is there any suggestions of how to not make it turn into a mess (obviously if it HAD no errors no problem- as if)also if it was out of control and not worth my efforts that is to say to many errors in program , to many negative comments, project becomes to big etc etc can a mod just delete the entire thread if requested by me? screenshot of beta app here ImageShack - Hosting :: epggrabbervc1.gif Thanks.
