| Premium Member | I have forgotten my login and password to the BF unit ,is there any way to reset these? I have attempted the reset method via serial port using null modem cable and hyperterminal without success. Anyone have any idea how to successfully reset these. Thanks. |

| Premium Member | CrYpto is it a newer one or is it the older model ??? if its a newer one from sattronics you may be in luck mate.I have just had to sort one out for a member and when i popped it open guess what ???? there is a factory reset switch built into them now. step 1: disconnect power and network 2: take top off 3: just to the left and under the daughter board there is a tiny switch 4: press switch in and hold while plugging power in 5: hold for 20 seconds 6: wait 30 seconds and remove power then re power and plug network in 7: start ip search and locate the unit and change ip to desired ip 8: smile and be happy |

| Premium Member | Sattronics always has the latest models of those Bf430 units. With all the correct firmware. You can actually plug the older cpu modules into the new carrier assembly to force a reset on them that way also. Or short the two pins near JP7. |
