| Premium Member | nice one... thanks z80 for the direction I should of been on the ball with this especially as the NW layer is my field of work. I missed the Event log entry, but I found exactly 1 entry when I just looked, which gave that warm and fuzzy feeling of satisfaction (a bit like when I look at your avatar z80). I appologise to Mr GW for my private impure thoughts around the software coding ![]() uflca |

| Premium Member | FYI Today I ran my dm500s connected to next G moble phone in modem mode plugged in to my laptop. Server was gwm071b. It ran without pixelation and i didn't have a problem at all. The latency was within a bees dick of my dm7020 on the local lan. I didn't bother to calculate the cost, but it works perfectly. This is probably useless info but it works. cheers ktm200 |

| Member | Hi Z80, I've tried this option you've mentioned & still same issue with the connection limit. Have tried GW on a Win Server 2003 R2 & Win XP Pro SP2 (with the windows XP connection limit crack applied), with no difference at all. Like mentioned before by another member that it will connect around 6 clients (on my server the most connections I've seen is 9 clients) & others will be at the "Ready" mode. So I don't think it has much to do with the OS, I would say it's more to do with GW user limitation. Is anyone still having this problem? Cheers Kingie05 |

| Member | Info on Vista, XP & win2003...not confirmed if it works yet. Windows Vista tcpip.sys Connection Limit Patch for Event ID 4226 My Digital Life |

| Member | This only relates to Vista. Like mentioned that on Vista it's hard coded in tcpip.sys. Quote:

I gave it a go last night on my Win XP Pro ( applied the patch & states that TCP Connection limit=50) & made no difference with the user limitation. Also have a Win Server 2003 with same result. ![]()

I've just check "Event Viewer" & with no ID 4226 errors listed. I would say that it comes down to be an issue with GW & not the OS.

| Premium Member | before I patched my XP install I checked event viewer and Idid find 1 instance of the event. I assumed that this was the issue so I patched XP increasing connection limit to 50 from 10 and that was that. I have not tested yet for connections over 10 to see if it worked. When I can I will run up a test, but will need some DMs to test it. At the moment I dont have any. It makes sense that if XP is limiting the TCP connections to 10 then additional connections will be queue until a socket is available which is what i was experiencing when I was playing around with it. As I could not figure out what it was until z80 enlightened me, I setup a CCcam server and used that to fed the clients from a single connection to GWM it worked fine. PS: are you using GWM or GW? uflca |

| Member | Im running "GWM" on a "Win Server 2003 R2" & still not much luck. GWM will not accept more than 10 clients, with the rest of the 3 clients in Ready mode. All clients are using Cccam. Like I said I've also tried it with Win XP Pro SP2 and had the TCP connection limits patched to a 50 limit connection & same story, no go. I would say maybe GWM works fine with more than 10 clients if I had the non public of GWM, if there is one out there, anyone, hmmm? Cheers Quote:

Yeah...it will work...for about 10 minutes. Until the anti cs countermeasures kick in. Then all have to be on the same channel....
