I can't remember the technical explanaton as to why dreamboxs connected to GWM wont keep a card updated since the 5.3 upgrade. (memory like a sieve plus it's on here somewhere but I couldn't find it)

I'm in the same boat Leroy, remember seeing something somewhere but can't put my finger on it. GWM works like a treat till it freezes

Leroy

Nothing technical about it, developer/s stopped working on it, changes happened in the stream and the newcamd code needed more work. same reason why only more recent versions of CCcam keep the card happy its called Development.

Maybe one day the developer/s may pick up the pieces and continue on. but with things as it is, most people work a way around like most here have.

Anyway the developer/s are probably on holidays and enjoying a well earned rest.

That's interesting, 071b seems to work better with a Dreambox. I like the logs as well.

071b has an issue with disconnects if you are using the aurora softkeys.

If you want a bullet proof system then use a goldie in a second card reader.

AFAIK greywolf is the only IR1 sharing program at the moment.

I just right click select properties, then compatibility and set it for Windows 2000. Works a treat

I assume a network problem as I'm sure you have properly configured the N: line.

It is amazing what problems a Humax can cure with a season interface
