A quick problem guys that i have seen with GW
Scenario:
White Card on GW 017b via Jaycar II with all the usual mods
Bare install of XP SP2
5 Dreams connected via LAN/WAN
Running CCcam mainly plus one on MgCamd

Greywolf runs prefectly for a day or so, ECM/EMM Cache on - no pixellation on any DB - initially problems begin after 24hrs or so with the initial symptom being only one user getting ECM/EMMs and the rest unable to get pics...

Then after another 24hrs or so the one and only user getting pics will lose ECM/EMMs and GW comes to a halt - this is only fixed by closing the program and restarting it

then all is fine for 24hours

anyone else had similar issues? besides this it has outperformed newcs very well

150ms? LMAO...that is nothing to complain about.

since it is the total turnaround time for a serial device.

So what are the possible reasons picture drops out every half hour or so for 5-10 seconds?

there are many reasons, mostly torrent downloads by teenagers.
background programs fire up, power save on a pc...the list goes on and on.

It was something I was doing, When you first start up Greywolf without a .ini file and setup everything i have found I need to close greywolf then load it up again and then I dont need to run it in windows 2000 compatibility mode to get all the card details populated on the main screen. If you start it without closing and starting it doesnt work.

Hi z80

Do you have anything else in your CCcam.cfg other than the N: line ?
Also do you let all the clients update the card or just one ?

Cheers

Just the N: line.......well, several "N" lines...

If I did have a server and wanted to play with it, the clients would just drop down to the next one.

I would only let the clients on my local lan do updates...
I hear that speeds things up a bit.

The author decided that it is not necessary.

have a go and you will see that it is very basic.

When u speak with Mr GreyWolf next, can you ask him if he could kindly make the IP address colum width adjustable in the next release?

Hopefully it's not too much work for him.

Thanks in advance
