Default best option , less stress to update cards

just wanting advice on the best option going for keeping the white one updated in the server. On one hand we have the smart wii splitter run into the humax on a timer.
On the other hand we may have NewCS 1.62. Is there a tug of war on which option to choose, can i have feedback on which runs more smoothly and which is more like a bag of hurt.
thanks
Mate.

smartwi splitter and no dreamboxes is great in the one dwelling.

a neighbour upstairs would be okay as well.

Depends what you find works for you. I've found the GW/Humax combo to be extremely reliable.

YMMV......Leroy

what set up is best for about 10 client boxes.
I hear the wolf is only good for 3 or 4.

It's good for more than 3 or 4 but I haven't got 10 friends so I haven't tried but believe it should handle that. Nothing to loose with having a play

I think 10 is the limit unless you run 2003 server etc.

that's an IP connection 'issue' that SP2 on XP introduced. You can reverse that or use Server 2k3. I think the theoretical amount of GW connections is 20 clients.
