watch it closely it will drop off so i hope you have a hummy or strong around to update it otherwise you will need to log and update it manually

in the first post its mentioned that greywolf software is used to share the card and as such the card is not in the receiver but in a pheonix so no heat issues there, the mention of the humax is so that it is connected to the server and as such keeps the card updated

| Senior Member | My whitey has a little bubble blister, but shes still running like there is no tommorrow. In the Toppy3000 with freecam (thanks to cwispy for the excellent freecam mod m8 ) she hasnt fallen over, not even a hiccup. I suppose I really should stick a fan on the bastard but im just so lazy this xmas break! |

It's possible to send the command manually, but that is of course after you've had to fiddle and fart with it in the middle of breaking during your viewing experience. OP suggests how to avoid an outage completely...and alas...no version of newcs can keep a whitey from falling over, but our homegrown Aussie Greywolf program does... ![]() A true testament to aussie talent....thank you Greywolf author. ![]()

OP? How frequently will it fall over using newcs? How frequently are the emk's rolled? Who was the fella in the trader selling those $50 hummers? What is the capital of iceland? Leroy

| Member | i believe running a whitey in a card splitter with one slave in a irdeto box and the other slave feeding newcs should update the card just as well. A mate has been doing this for about a month and it seems to be updating well. Has anyone had any negative experiences? taxman |

yes, it pixelates, because newcs has issues with cache.

Running hot. I posted gamma hot spot months ago. There is a fix for the strong box with a resistor and a track cut, but I am seeing a lot of UBI gam cards around now with big black marks over the CPU, and most of the cards are in Humax's Cheers
