Hi all

I have read so many posts I'm confused.

I have a TomTom 710 and want to put on the V720 Aus maps. I have downloaded the maps and a ttkeygen8. What else do I need and what is the process for getting these maps to work?

Do you have the ttsystem.This link will give you 1. basicpack 2. ttsystem (I used 8.011). And easyuse tool keygen.

I have the map Aus_Map_v705_1485rar (which is 80.8mb) on an SD card with heaps of other tt files. However my tt will not recognise the map. I am obvously missing something. And BTW my SD card operates just like the tt and will update if i have it in the SD slot in my computer, sadly the computer is not as portable as the tt!!, otherwise a free tt, even if it is only an NZ one as yet!

What steps am I missing to make the Aust map work.

And thanks to the member (babylon5) who pointed me to the Garmin maps in NZ. My Italy only Nuvi 200W now has an NZ map working fine.

thanks Puca..I loaded V7 and tried these maps australia_720_1838.rar and it didnt work..can u pls confirm they are PPC maps?

this says that 720 maps wont work



can someone pls confirm what is the latest maps that work on PPC?

ok need more help, i update my GO500 easy as, now trying to do a mates OneXL with version 8.0109369 and i keep getting error message No Map Found when i try to do the job. Doing it the same way with SD card im my laptop card reader, and I am using the latest version of easytools which gives the option of which to run and I am choosing the 1st option for 8.010

any suggestions I am trying to use the Map i put on my my unit Australia_720_1868_with_keygen_and_POI_s which worked fine for me, but I cannot seem to update this new unit ......... T.I.A

what error mesage are you getting if it is map not found you may be like the rest of us and it may not run on your uniti have done a couple for friends some ppc will run tt7 some wont

how do you do ttsystem, i thought ttsystem patcher did not work on version 8, i copied the ttsystem file from here SE_ttsystem.8.010.9369 onto the card or do i need to do more to it ??


i might leave it as version 7.162 and run it with 720 maps it seems a lot easier lol, unless you guys can steer me the right way.

yeah that is what i ment copy the ttsytem file from your tomtom m8 should work with the keygen you did not put a space when doing the device id and in caps as it should work

Just curious ...Can you "borrow" a valid SD card from a registered owner ( naybor just purchased the latest tom tom V 8) and copy it across to another card ,,??

Would the original still operate ? and would the copied card work or need Cracking..?? Just that I dont want to try it and stuff his up ...He is a Pro Roo shooter and a bloody good shot..

yeah you can copy the card and it will still work as it did before as with the new copied card it will also work in the original unit but if you are going to use it in your unit you will have to crack the maps on it

Fine if you have an old system, on your TT, but I am trying to get a map of Australia on my TT which has an NZ embedded map. I bought Tomtom because I could not get a map of NZ for my Garmin that has a map if Italy embedded. Now I have a Garmin with Open NZ, Aust and others. But I want to get the TT going too, in the end the Garmin was easy. Thanks to the member who provided the link to GWprojects.

Are there specific V6 files for WinCE 4.3 PNA hardware or can the PDA versions be utilised?
I tried to install Ttom V7 on my 7" unit running 4.3 and kept getting the memory error so I've been told to use V6 software. I just like Ttom much more than the iGo8 which came with the unit, hope someone can find a fix soon.

I thought the latest Australian maps were v720.1868?
